Binder Park Zoo
Binder Park Zoo is 3 mi. s. of I-94 exit 100 at 7400 Division Dr. The zoo has wooden boardwalks and a conservation discovery center with hands-on activities. Exotic animals live in a natural park setting. Visitors can board a train to tour the safari-style habitat of Wild Africa. Among the species represented in the zoo are the African wild dog, bald eagle, green iguana, Mexican wolf, Mongolian wild horse, red kangaroo and red panda. Call 269-979-1351 for more information.

Gilmore Car Museum
Gilmore Car Museum is at 6865 Hickory Rd. Nearly 200 automobiles, including an 1899 Locomobile, a Duesenberg, 1948 Tucker, a Model T and muscle cars from the 1960s, are featured in this 90-acre parklike setting. Leila Arboretum

W.K. Kellogg Manor House
W.K. Kellogg Manor House is 1 mi. n. off SR 89 on 40th St., then 1 mi. w. on B Ave. to 3700 E. Gull Lake Dr. This 1925-26 Tudor Revival house was Kellogg's summer estate; he shared it with employees and Battle Creek residents, who often visited and enjoyed the amenities. A boathouse, caretaker's cottage, carriage house with chauffeur's residence, Dutch windmill, greenhouse, lakeside pagoda and gardens also adorn the grounds. Call 269-671-2416 for more information.
