Jazz In the Garden

Meadow Brook Hall
Oakland University's Meadow Brook Hall is a magnificent 110 room Tudor-revival style mansion former residence of Matilda Dodge Wilson, widow of auto pioneer John Dodge and second husband Alfred Wilson. Daily tours are offered year round in addition to educational programs, special events and facility rental. The Gardens are open year-round to walk through at no cost. Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm
A nationally registered historic site that contains the 1840 Van Hoosen Farmhouse, the 1888 Red House and the 1927 Dairy Barn that has been converted into a year-round exhibit gallery. The Museum is located a 15-acre park with the Stoney Creek Stream, gardens, agricultural barns and nearby pioneer schoolhouse and cemetery. Yates Cider Mill
Our cider mill has been water powered since 1863. Petting farm daily and pony rides on weekends. We have cider, donuts, baked goods, a farm market, a picnic area and a fudge shop. Tours are scheduled on the weekdays until the end of October, then by appointment only. A hot dog stand is available on weekends. Open daily September -November.
